Marine Parade, Tankerton – Major Luxury Extension & Renovation

Project Overview

This exceptional transformation at Marine Parade, Tankerton involved the extensive renovation and enlargement of an existing coastal property, creating a luxury contemporary family home finished to an exceptionally high standard.

The original dwelling was virtually demolished, with only two existing structural walls retained. From this point, the property was completely re-engineered and rebuilt to create a substantially larger, modern residence designed to maximise both living space and its outstanding seaside location.

Structural Works

The project commenced with extensive demolition and enabling works before the construction of a significant new extension and structural framework.

Due to varying ground conditions, new foundations were installed, ranging from approximately 1 metre to 2.2 metres in depth, providing a robust base for the new structure.

A complex package of structural steelwork was incorporated throughout the build to facilitate large open-plan living spaces, extensive glazing and the dramatic architectural features incorporated into the design.
